While physical activity & nutrition are pivotal parts of a wellness equation,
health is also shaped by lifestyle choices, sleep habits & what we choose to think. 
Our thoughts (& the feelings they elicit) 
influence our bodies' chemistry, tissues, organs, & general states of being.  

If we regularly focus on thoughts that create stress hormones & response,
we may slowly erode away at health & have complications related to this imbalance...
but if we intentionally meditate & practice single-pointed focus, we may
  • counter fight-or-flight
  • bolster healthy brain function
  • increase relaxation-associated brainwaves
  • form new neural tissue
  • & more!  
But, modern science merely confirms what's been clear for many moons...
